The Don Papa Port Casks Quincentennial Edition 2025 is a limited release worldwide, honoring the 500th anniversary of Magellan's first circumnavigation. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, this rum undergoes a double maturation process totaling seven years: first two years in American ex-bourbon casks, followed by five years in ruby port casks. This results in a complex, multi-layered rum with flavors of licorice, dark chocolate, muscovado sugar, and oak, complemented by nuances of blood orange, cinnamon, and coffee.
