DISTILLED IN 2013, BOTTLED IN 2023

The story of this release begins on April 17, 2013, with the distillation of the new make at the Glen Spey distillery, located in the heart of Speyside. After 9 years (May 2022), the contents of the cask (hogshead) were split into 2 different sherry quarter casks. The goal? To give the whisky a twist, to create something unique, which is what an independent bottler generally tries to do. In late 2022 and the spring of 2023, two sample sessions followed before the final order to bottle was given. This took place at the end of July.

The result? Two deliciously "sherried" whiskies, which on the one hand differ greatly due to their distinct finishes, but on the other hand each contain that typical sherry influence in their own way.

This is the expression that was finished in an Amontillado sherry cask.
