DISTILLED IN 2013, BOTTLED IN 2024

A heavenly combination of the typical smoky Islay whisky style and the sweetness of PX sherry!

The very last release of 2024 is also the 3rd peated single malt in the range so far. This is a perfect mix of peat and sherry that was immediately convincing. What a flavor bomb! The distillery of origin is unknown, but it could very well be a Laphroaig. This expression has spent its entire maturation period in an ex-PX sherry cask.

NOSE:
Rich notes of dried fruit, chocolate, and a hint of spice. Immediately followed by those typical maritime, smoky influences that characterize Islay whiskies.

PALATE:
A beautiful balance between the sweetness of the PX sherry and the smoky Islay whisky style.

FINISH:
A beautiful, warming finish that lingers for a long time.
